Using Quick-Assistant to Create a Photobook PhotobookMagic
allows you to create custom photobooks using your own digital photos
and your own text. To create a photobook, you can either manually
insert your own photos one photo at a time, or use . Choosing to use Quick-Assistant When you first start up a new project, the software will ask if you would like to use Quick-Assistant to help with your photobook.If you would like to use Quick-Assistant, click on "OK", or
If you have already started a project, and would now like to use Quick-Assistant you can: 1. Click on the "Quick-Assistant Icon", or
2. Go to the Menu Bar, and click on "Edit" >> "Quick-Assistant". . Starting up Quick-Assistant The Quick-Assistant Wizard will then start. . . Choosing the Folder Location of your Photos You will then be asked to choose the folder in which the photos you would to include in your photobook are located. Click on the "Folder Icon" to choose the appropriate folder.
Choose the appropriate folder, then click "OK" to continue.
The photos from your folder will now be added to a preview area. The photos shown in this preview area will be automatically added to your photobook. . Removing Images If there are photos you would not like to be included in your photobook, double click on the image.
. To (Re) Arrange the Order of Your Photos The Quick-Assistant will insert the images in the preview section into you photobook in the order listed, from left-to-right and up-and-down. To arrange the order of your photos, select the photo you would like moved, then move that photo to the appropriate place in your photobook, by dragging and dropping the image to its new location. A green arrow will show you where your photo is to be placed.
If you drag and drop one image ontop of another one, the images will swap places.
Once you have finished ordering your images, click on "Next" to continue.
. Choosing photobook page background colours To modify the background colour(s) of the pages in your photobook, first click on the "Background" tab. By default, your pages will have a white coloured background. To choose different colours, double click on a colour. You can choose more than one colour. The Start-Assistant will then randomly insert coloured backgrounds into your photobook.
. Choosing photobook layouts To modify the page layout of the pages in your photobook, first click on the "Layouts" tab. By default, each page wil have one photo per page. To choose different layouts, double click on a layout. You can choose more than one layout. The Start-Assistant will then randomly insert different layouts into your photobook. Click on "Finish", and your initial photobook layout will be completed.
