Starting PhotobookMagic for the first time

Now that you've installed PhotobookMagic onto your PC, it's now time to start-up the program to see what it can do.

Launching PhotobookMagic

If the program has not automatically started up, you can:

1. Go to your desktop and double click on the "PhotobookMagic Icon", or

2. Go to:
    Start >> Programs >> PhotobookMagic >> PhotobookMagic (for Windows XP)
    Start >> All Programs >> PhotobookMagic >> Photobook Magic (for Windows Vista)

Update Check

Before starting up PhotobookMagic, your computer will check to see if any new updates to our PhotobookMagic software have been made available.

If an update is available, click on "Yes" to download and run the software. The update will be installed ontop of your current installation.

If no software is available, click "Start" to launch PhotobookMagic.

The Start Assistant, Starting New Photobook

The first screen you will see if our Start Assistant.

Here, choose to start a new photobook, resume working on the last photobook you were working on, or open a previous photobook project.

As this is our first time using the software, click on the "New Blank Photobook" button.

Choosing the size of your photobook

The Start Assitant will next prompt you to choose the size of photobook you would like create. 
Use the drop down menu to select the size of book you would like to create.

Then click on "OK" to have PhotobookMagic create a blank photobook for you.
